Le Jun Fan (Bruce Lee)
The concept of leadership is no longer about knowing all the answers but transforming conditions of uncertainty into growth opportunities. In the face of today’s complex challenges, leadership means overcoming uncertainties, establishing the right collaborations amidst great diversity and sustaining the desired momentum with optimism.
A leader should be able to create the conditions for new collaboration settings in a diverse range of perspectives. In order to fulfill these conditions, a trusting environment needs to be generated among and necessary skills developed in all stakeholders.
“I believe that execution is more important than having an opinion. The idea is like a seed, turning it into a fully-grown tree is laborious and difficult.”
Elon Musk
A leader unites others around a common goal. A leader should be able to overcome complex tasks and take the lead in designing new ideas to meet expectations. The concept of a confident, empathetic and collaborative leader who can lead a variety of teams has become increasingly more valuable. In order to render relevant projects and initiatives feasible and substantial through the leader’s guidance, we must inevitably favor people-centered design principles.
“A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
